Vidmar builds every preconfigured cabinet to order in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and the standard lead time is 2 to 3 weeks. The Quick Ship program keeps 7 of the most-ordered configurations staged ahead of demand so they leave the plant within 10 days of the order. The trade is the finish and keying: Quick Ship cabinets ship in Dark Blue or Vidmar Gray with keyed-alike locks. Want a different color, master keying, or a drawer layout that is not on this page? Any other Vidmar cabinet is the same price and the same drawers on the normal lead time.
Counter-Height (Model 245, 44″): SCU2066A, RP2102A, Eye-Level (Model 340, 59″): SEP3163A, SCU3110A, SEP3140A, SCU3126A, RP3039A. All are the standard 30 inch wide by 27¾ inch deep housing with full-extension drawers rated for 400 lb. The RP3039A is the deepest bench of drawers in the program at 13 drawers and 256 compartments; the SCU2066A is the lowest-cost entry.
A tool crib that is being stood up on a fixed date, a depot that lost cabinets to a move or a flood, a new cell that has tooling arriving before the storage does, or a government buyer with funds that need to be obligated this quarter. In each case the Quick Ship model that is closest to the layout you want is usually the better decision than waiting three weeks for the exact one, because dividers and partitions re-map the inside of any drawer after it lands.
Need more than one and want them keyed alike to each other? They already are: every Quick Ship cabinet on the same order opens with the same key. Need them keyed to cabinets you already own, or master keyed for a crib? That moves the order to made-to-order, and we quote it, usually within one business day. Lost keys later are a replacement lock cylinder.
