Four heights, four widths, two depths. Every stocked Vidmar cabinet with its W × D × H, drawer count and delivered price in one table, plus how to pick the height for how you work and the depth for the room you have.
Shop/Modular Cabinets/Cabinet dimensions guide
Every stocked Vidmar cabinet is one of four housing heights, one of four widths, and one of two depths. Height decides how you work at the cabinet: 33 inches is a bench, 37 inches slides under a counter, 44 inches is a standing counter with drawers below, 59 inches is the most drawers per square foot of floor. Width decides how many cabinets fit the wall. Depth is the one people get wrong: the standard 27¾ inch housing needs 28 inches of aisle in front of it to pull a drawer, so a tight room takes the 21⅜ inch shallow series. All 62 stocked modular drawer cabinets are in the table, with the 11 shelf and mobile cabinets after them.
The standard housing is 27¾ inches deep and it is what 56 of the 62 stocked cabinets use; every Quick Ship model is standard depth. The shallow 21⅜ inch series (6 stocked models) gives up about a quarter of the drawer volume to fit a room where the standard cabinet plus a pulled-out drawer would block an aisle, a door swing, or a vehicle bay. Decide by measuring the clear space in front of where the cabinet will stand: a standard cabinet needs its own 27¾ inches plus 28 inches for the open drawer plus the person, so about 5 feet from the wall; a shallow cabinet needs about 4 feet. The layout planner checks this for a whole room.
Widths are 22½″, 30″, 45″, 60″. The 22½ inch small version fits a narrow gap or the end of a run; 30 inches is the standard and what nearly every crib is built from; 45 and 60 inch housings carry the same drawer heights with far more compartments per drawer, at a higher price per cabinet and a lower price per compartment. Every cabinet passes through a 36 inch door: turn the 45 and 60 inch housings so the 27¾ inch depth faces the door. Cabinets ship on a pallet by LTL freight, so plan for a pallet jack or forklift at the dock, not two people.
Take RP3039A-FTKADB. RP, SCU and SEP are Vidmar's preconfigured catalog series prefixes. The four digits name the specific drawer layout, and the first digit tracks the housing height: 3xxx cabinets are Model 340 eye-level, 2xxx are Model 245 counter-height, and 1xxx are Model 175 bench-height, with the 19xx block being Model 200 stand-up. A means the cabinet ships with its drawer accessories (dividers and partitions); AL adds the lock. After the dash, FT is the forklift base that every stocked cabinet includes, then the keying, KA keyed alike, MA master keyed, RG random group, then the color code, DB for Dark Blue. Configured-to-order cabinets use the housing model instead, a footprint code plus the height code, like ST0340 for a standard 30 by 27¾ inch housing at 59 inches; the configurator builds those.
62 modular drawer cabinets from $2,164.65 to $8,265.00 delivered, 7 of them Quick Ship within 10 days, plus the shelf and mobile lines. Prices include freight to the contiguous 48 states and are generated from the same catalog file as the product pages, so they match. Mobile cabinets are quoted.

Know the height? Go to the eye-level, counter-height, stand-up or bench-height page and pick a stocked model. Need a size that is not in the table, or a whole room? The configurator prices any housing with your own drawer stack and the layout planner checks the aisles. Or send the room dimensions to hello@echoindustrialsource.com or call 512.363.2178.
Open the configuratorSeveral hundred pounds empty. Weight scales with the housing size and the drawer count, and Vidmar publishes a shipping weight for every configuration, so ask us for the figure on a specific model. In practice every cabinet ships on a pallet by LTL freight and is moved with a pallet jack or forklift, never carried.
Yes. Standard and small-version housings are 30 and 22½ inches wide, and the 45 and 60 inch housings go through on their 27¾ inch depth when turned. Check the pallet too: it adds a few inches each way, so most cabinets are taken off the pallet before the doorway.
Standard Vidmar housings are 27¾ inches deep; the shallow series is 21⅜ inches deep. Both take the same drawer heights and the same 400 lb rating. Shallow gives up about a quarter of the drawer volume to fit a room where the standard cabinet plus an open drawer would block an aisle or a door.
It is the housing height code. Model 340 is the 59 inch eye-level housing, Model 245 is 44 inches, Model 200 is 37 inches, and Model 175 is 33 inches. The drawer models inside must add up to the housing code, which is why a Model 340 cabinet holds more drawers than a Model 175.
Drawers are fixed in the housing they were built into and are not swapped between cabinets in the field. The drawer heights themselves are the same across every housing height, so a Model 50 drawer holds the same 7 inches in a bench-height cabinet as in an eye-level one, and dividers and partitions move between drawers of the same width.
Stocked widths are 22½″, 30″, 45″, 60″. The 30 inch standard housing is the one most cribs are built from; 22½ inches fits a narrow gap; 45 and 60 inch housings carry the same drawers with more compartments per drawer.
The footprint plus the open drawer plus the person. A standard 30 by 27¾ inch cabinet needs about 5 feet from the wall to the far edge of the aisle; a shallow 21⅜ inch cabinet needs about 4 feet. Cabinets stand flush side by side in a run, so width adds up but the aisle depth is the same for the whole row.
